I guess us locking that Beck guy up in his own movie theatre, maybe tying him to a chair for the rest of ever is probably overdoing it?

[Probably. She heaves out a sigh, rubbing her head, pushing her hat up a little.]

I don't know. I don't know how we can make him feel safe if he knows the guy is right here. We can't get him anywhere safe other than trying to keep him in the house, and that'd drive him bananas.

Doing anything to him will tip Peter off, then he'll likely blame himself for putting us in danger.

[they're their own people and make their own mistakes, but buzz knows how it goes. as much as he loves peter, he knows at his core that he's more like woody.]

Definitely not. My best idea is to... I don't know. Try to continuously remind him he has support, and not just us. He has many other friends here, though I could understand why he might not trust them as much anymore.

[yodelling]

Ugh. That don't seem all that fair, but fine. I understand.

[She'll just THINK about hurting him real hard.]

You think we could maybe get some of them in the house? Let him know that there's people there for him? Not really a party just- a get-together, just so he knows how many people he's got in his corner?

I know, but we have to focus on Peter, not Beck.

...Maybe. It's the beginning of an idea-- I can talk to Mr Stark about it and see what he thinks. As far as I'm aware, he's the person other than us here that Peter is closest to.

[yodelling]

I haven't spoken to him, but it can't hurt to have an actual human helping him out. He can do things to help Peter we can't, even with the best will in the world.

[They still are but toys, after all.]

[buzz just sighs lightly at that.]

Hey now, we can still help plenty. There's just some things that require... bigger than what we can manage. That's all.

Oh-- I know. I didn't mean to imply what we have isn't good enough.

[he just... kind of wishes they could do EVERYTHING, even though he rationally knows that's completely unfeasible. no-one can.]

...Have you spoken to Tony before?

I understand, though. I do.

[She wishes they could do so much more than they're capable of here. To help people. ]

I don't think so. Not that I recall, anyway.

[it would be nice to pretend it was only here, too, but buzz knows it would be ridiculous to believe no toy has ever had the thought back home. it would great to be able to reveal themselves outside of this pocket dimension, but... well, it doesn't work like that.]

You'll like him. He's a lot like you, actually. Very clever, level headed. ...Not sure if he's a fan of horses, though.

[yodelling]

[It is what it is. They just have to make the most of this place and the opportunity it's given them while they can.]

Eh, no one can be right at everything. [Because obviously, not being a horse fan is just an incorrect life choice.] Seems like we'd get along, though. And he cares about Peter- that's a big bonus.

Definitely.

[there does seem to be more to peter and tony's relationship than he knows-- but that's a given. there was no way they'd know everything. it's obvious, sometimes, that peter is holding some stuff back.]

He's worth seeking out when you have time.

[yodelling]

[Peter was definitely keeping things from them, especially as of late. It was starting to worry her, more than a little.]
