I don't reckon the Fluid cares all that much if you gave consent or not.

[he is so very indignantly angry about it. buzz's face kind of takes on that pouty expression it does when if he had the capability to blush, his face would be beet-red.]

He won't look as good in it as I do, [he says, pushing it up so it's sitting on his head properly. it is just as ridiculous.]

She takes the hat, turning it in her hands for a moment, appraising it. She takes off her own hat, seamlessly plopping it onto Buzz's head. Guard it with your life, Space Ranger. ]

[isn't it incredible how he's a whole ass 13 years old but still somehow manages to act like he's older than jessie when it comes to how Kids These Days speak? you'd think he'd learn.

her hat flops forward on his head, covering his eyes and he flails his arms for a moment in surprise as he takes it off, clicks up his helmet, then puts it back on. her hat balances so much better on his helmet instead of his tiny bean head.]

You look-- [a beat.] Don't get mad when I say you look cute. Because you do. Utterly adorable. Like an actual princess of the prarie.

[Lucky for him, she's not in intense rage mode, so she finds the comment more flattering than flattening. She chuckles, partly for the sight of him wearing her giant-ass hat on top of his helmet, part for the comment. She tips the deer hat like she would her cowgirl hat- it probably doesn't have the safe effect, but she does what she wants. ]

[Did she just call him a princess? Probably.]

[She scrunches her face up, almost comically, as she tries to think about Buzz- not exactly a hard stretch, Buzz-thoughts have a whole chunk of her mind's real estate booked up already.

After a moment, a laugh bubbles out of her.]

It-- it's catchy. It was made to be catchy. Do you know how long I had my own theme stuck in my head when I first saw the show on Andy's tv?
